what's up doc... pet bunny blown onto house roof via hurricane Gertrude



A fireman needed to hop on to the roof with a ladder to do and coax down the rabbit - with the help of a carrot.
Bumper the bunny was discovered on the roof of the residence in Omagh, Northern ireland, and needed to be reclaimed through the native hearth service the previous day morning.

"Bumper is currently secure inside the care of his proprietor and none the extra serious for his ordeal. One short ladder, one reach pole, and one notably tasty carrot have been used by employees at the incident."
The advocate introduced: "Northern eire fire & Rescue carrier (NIFRS) acquired a move into 9:16am to a record of companion animal rescue incident at residential premises at the Deverney street space of Omagh this morning (Friday twenty ninth January).
"One fire appliance from Omagh firehouse became deployed to the scene of a rabbit blown onto a roof inside the area. Firefighters employing a triple ladder, roofing ladder and a water rescue reach pole controlled to rescue the rabbit. The rabbit has been safely got here back to its owner."
